A true South Minneapolis girl, Autumn Compton has been grinding in the Twin Cities arts community since 2002.  Whether it has been spoken word, dance performance, events organization, or rocking the mic with her band "The Most Wanted," Autumn brings a refreshing voice and creativity to everything that she does.  In 2007 she co-founded Rose Up Productions with her partner Theresa Rose.  Together they bring to Minneapolis ‘Freak In Fridays,’ a weekly show of local musicians, poets, dj’s, and mc’s,  that strives to create an alternative and soulful experience for both audience and artist. With legendary hip-hop pioneer TruthMaze, they also founded the ‘Twin Cities Battle League,’ a monthly freestyle MC battle.  From organizing for the arts, to creating her own, after much demand from fans that have seen her perform around the Twin Cities, Autumn is working on her debut album set to drop in 2010.
